Box Tops Competition - Nov. 9th - Dec. 4
     *Winning homeroom - each student gets $3 to spend at the Book Fair on VIP Day.
     *Winning grade - hot cocoa and cookies!
It looks like we have quite a few this first week but keep bringing them in! We will find out Monday how many each homeroom has.

Book Orders due on Tuesday Nov. 17.

End of Trimester is Nov. 13th. Report cards will go home on Nov. 20th.

Fabulous Feats Feast - October

Congratulations to Noah, Julianna, Mikaila and Makynna for earning an award for all 3s on all 4 spelling tests so far this year! (Maci also has earned all 3s, but got an award last month).

Lots of Infomation

* Live Healthy Iowa Day - we will walk for 20 minutes tomorrow, Oct 16th so make sure kids wear tennis shoes.

* I will see you at conferences on Oct. 15th or 19th as scheduled. Please be on time as I have back to back conferences all night!

*Bike a Thon prizes come home tonight! Thank you for helping our school earn over $11,000. Amazing job from all the kids!

Fire Prevention Poster Winner!

Congratulations Makynna on 3rd place in the 4th grade Fire Prevention Poster contest! Nice work!

Fire Safety Day

Kids were able to go through fire safety stations today. They are encouraged to practice a fire plan at home for Operation EDITH tonight!

Updates

We had an outstanding day for the bike a thon and raised a lot of money! We will share the amount when we have it finalized. Prizes will be awarded in the next few weeks, as soon as we have received all of them! Thank you for your support! Photos are on the Photos tab on the blog.

GUM DAY tomorrow - Oct. 2nd. $1 to chew gum all day.

Monday: mustache day
Tuesday: class color day - Our class has voted on BLUE
Wednesday: Dress as hero day (firefighter, police, military)
Thursday: PJ Day
Friday: Demon Spirit Day

We have a 1:10 dismissal for Homecoming on Oct. 9th.
